Homewood Murder Suspect Bonds Out

A Homewood minister charged with murder bonded out of jail Friday evening. The Rev. Richard Shahan said nothing as he was escorted out of the Jefferson County Jail  to a waiting van.  Shahan posted $100,000 bond.  He'll be required to stay at his mother's house in Homewood. Shahan must also wear an ankle bracelet, so his whereabouts can be electronically monitored.  Prosecutors say Shahan stabbed his wife Karen to death, as part of a scheme to leave the country, and marry his boyfriend.
