Demi Lovato is saying goodbye to Fox's "X Factor."
According to "The Hollywood Reporter," the singer confirmed the rumors on Wednesday night addressing reporters after the live show. Demi says she "started the show being a singer and a musician" and is "going to go back to that." She adds her time on "X Factor" has been "really great," but she's ready to dedicate her 2014 "completely and entirely to music."
Demi's "Neon Lights" tour is already set to kick off in February. Her plans also include recording and "possible releasing" a new album.
Demi's fellow judge Simon also addressed her exit. He says that he "always knew she wasn't coming back" because of her touring plans.
The Fox singing competition has yet to be officially renewed for a fourth season, however. The 21-year-old has spent two seasons on the show, alongside Cowell, Kelly Rowland, Paulina Rubio - and last year, Britney Spears.
